KESIMPULAN
Dari percobaan simulasi yang telah dilakukan dapat disimpulkan bahwa fungsi sebuah router dapat menjadi suatu jembatan yang menghubungkan beberapa Local Network, namun berbeda dengan Switch yang langsung dapat terkoneksi dalam router harus ada sebuah konfigurasi atau pengalamatan jalur yang akan digunakan. Selain itu pengaturan Default Gateway juga penting karena dapat di ibaratkan sebuah gerbang dimana data tersebut dapat keluar masuk dari dan ke Local network yang berbeda. Setelah dilakukan konfigurasi pada masing-masing PC, pada saat akan melakukan Tes Koneksi yang pertama untuk dua PC yang berada pada Network yang berbeda akan muncul hasil RTO, hal ini disebabkan sebuah router akan melakukan pengenalan terlebih dahulu pada jalur yang dia lalui, hal ini hanya akan terjadi pada saat uji koneksi yang pertama dan setelah itu akan lancar (Perhatikan hasil Tes Koneksi dengan Default Gateway pada PCA ping PCC dan PCA ping PCD ).
